can't call it learning something new, since i don't understand the technical aspects, but maybe you do. http://www.whitehouse.gov/robots.txt supposedly blocks many kinds of search engines from finding documents, according to http://old.leavesrustle.com/articles/111.html. I know I'm guilty of disseminating non-information here, because I don't know what I'm talking about, and can't vouch that it's not misinformation, but y'all are smart, maybe you know something.

so insomniac i'm commenting myself. see, as more evidence i don't know what i'm talking about re computers, the timestamp above is california time, i can't figure out how to make it default to eastern. it's 4am for me. ACK.
