new analogy (to me)

I think grits are to polenta as white rice is to brown rice? For grits, they take the yellow away. I've a bowl in front of me now: grits aka "hominy." If grits were whole grain I think the Quaker Oats box would be plastered with boasts of it. Therefore they're not, the missing yellow being the unwholeness: this is added to my vast speculative knowledge. Today I asserted that white chocolate doesn't deserve to exist but I've friends who like it, so fine, assertion rescinded, me begrudged.
